Press Release

Cleo Skin, the first AI tool for skin pathology, deployed at ZAS in Belgium

We are thrilled to announce that CLEO Skin, currently the only AI tool in the world dedicated to dermatopathology, has been deployed at ZAS in Belgium. This deployment represents an incredible milestone, demonstrating the international reach and growing trust in Primaa’s innovative solutions.

Cleo Skin is designed to assist pathologists in analyzing digitized skin slides more efficiently and accurately. It automatically pre-classifies melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, naevus and other lesions. Lesion measurements and margins are also conducted automatically. The pathologists have access to a recap table with all the PNIs detected and with all the mitotic objects detected in the melanoma region.

Dr. Frederik Deman, Pathologist at ZAS, shared his first impressions: « We are really glad to try Cleo Skin. With the expertise of our lab, we can pave the way for a broad implementation.”

CLEO Skin stands out not only because of its cutting-edge AI algorithms but also for its user-friendly interface and seamless integration into existing laboratory workflows. As the only tool of its kind worldwide, it provides a unique opportunity to explore how AI can truly enhance dermatopathology, saving valuable time while improving the consistency of analyses.

The deployment of CLEO Skin at ZAS also highlights the growing international recognition of Primaa as a pioneer in AI-powered healthcare solutions.

We sincerely thank the team at ZAS for their trust and openness to innovation. Together, we are shaping the future of dermatopathology, advancing toward a world where AI helps healthcare professionals work smarter, faster, and more effectively : ultimately improving patient outcomes.
